Original Pick: Mega Moolah
Why it is on the list
Microgaming released it in November 2006 on 5 reels, 3 rows and 25 fixed lines. Its client prints every seed, and its own record is €18,915,872.81 at Grand Mondial.
In short: Mega Moolah games are separate titles paying from one progressive pool. The biggest win among them came from a sibling: Absolootly Mad: Mega Moolah paid about €19.4 million in 2021, more than the original has paid on record.
You can chase the same four jackpots from at least ten different games, each one built separately. Studios, reel layouts and records vary, and this page sorts out which of those differences we could actually confirm.

Why it is on the list
Triple Edge Studios built it with 243 ways to win. A Belgian player won about €19.4 million on it at Napoleon on , the largest pool win we found.
Why it is on the list
PearFiction Studios made it. Catalogues list 40 lines against 25 on the original, the widest count given for any title here.
Why it is on the list
It paid €13.5 million at Betway on , per GamblingNews citing Games Global; the studio behind this build is unconfirmed.
Why it is on the list
Neon Valley Studios made it; layout and a dated record stayed out of reach in our checks, so it ranks on the studio alone.
Why it is on the list
Catalogues list 20 lines, five fewer than the original, while the studio behind it remains unconfirmed.
Why it is on the list
Games Global lists it among its Mega Moolah progressives, a roulette wheel in place of reels; its rules and records were beyond what we could check.

Mega Moolah is the one title in this family whose rules we read screen by screen, in the studio's demo client. It runs a 5x3 grid with 25 fixed lines, and stakes go from 0.25 to 6.25. A wild lion doubles the wins it completes. Three or more monkey scatters give 15 free spins with every win tripled.
The demo would not spin: the server refused with code 407. Every figure here comes from screens and text. The siblings we know only from press coverage and the studio's own progressive list.
The titles share one jackpot pool and little else: the Mini, Minor, Major and Mega pay out of the same counters, while each game keeps its own reels and rules. A Mega win on Book of Mega Moolah comes out of the same counter as one on the original. That is how a sibling can hold the pool's biggest win.

Lines, symbols and free spins change from title to title, going by catalogues and press. So, quite possibly, does the base-game maths. The line "THE HIGHER YOUR BET THE GREATER YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING THE PROGRESSIVE JACKPOT" comes from the original's rules, so it is confirmed for Mega Moolah itself and assumed for nobody else.
Return to player is a gap across the family. Games Global prints none for the original. Catalogue figures for the siblings arrive without a named source too.
Immortal Romance Mega Moolah, Thunderstruck Wild Lightning Mega Moolah and Gold Factory Jackpots Mega Moolah all appear on Games Global's progressive list. That is as far as our checks went. Studio, layout and a dated jackpot are all missing from our files for these three, which keeps them out of the table above.

WowPot is a different story. Games Global runs it as its own network. Its Wheel of Wishes paid €38,461,200.95 on , the biggest jackpot either network has paid. Think of it as a neighbour rather than family.
The family's main weak spot is transparency. The one rulebook we read leaves the jackpot odds unquantified. Beside it, the studio prints no return to player.

The records flatter the picture. The Mega level paid exactly twice in two years on the studio's own feed, shared across every game on the pool. A famous sibling is no shortcut to it.
We do not recommend picking Book of Mega Moolah because of its €13.5 million Christmas win. One dated jackpot says little about how often a game pays. The pool behind it is the one the original draws on anyway.
If you want the maths in writing, the original is the only title here with rules we could read in full. If line count matters, catalogues list 40 lines for Treasures of Kilauea and 20 for Juicy Joker, either side of the original's 25. If neither fits, open the rules screen of whichever game you are weighing up. Read its jackpot section first.
The free demo opens on the full rules and paytable, though it will not spin; the demo page lists what it shows and what it does not.
See what the demo shows →This site takes no deposits and runs no identity checks; both stay off it entirely.
The questions below come up once readers realise the jackpot is shared. Answers draw on the original game's demo client, Games Global's public feeds and the trade reports named on this page.
Mega Moolah came first, released by Microgaming in November 2006; the siblings named here arrived later, some built by outside studios such as Triple Edge Studios.
No, WowPot runs as its own Games Global network. Its €38,461,200.95 record on Wheel of Wishes in December 2023 came from outside the Mega Moolah pool.
Games Global's public counter feed shows them: Mega stood at 15,841,588.70 on . The original's demo counters run on a test pool instead.
We test by reading: we opened the original's demo client, went through its rules and paytable, then checked each sibling's studio against trade reports and the studio's list.
Catalogues list 40 lines for Treasures of Kilauea and 20 for Juicy Joker, against the original's 25 fixed lines, while Absolootly Mad pays on 243 ways.
The Mega seed appears only in the original's demo, at 2,000,000.00; the studio's feed records one Mega win below that figure, so even that seed is disputed.
