Mega Moolah Biggest Win: €18.9 Million and the Records Since
In short: The biggest win on Mega Moolah itself is €18,915,872.81, paid at Grand Mondial from a €0.75 bet, although Guinness keeps naming a smaller win from 2015 as the record.
You will find three different "biggest" Mega Moolah wins quoted online, and each is right about something. Here they are in date order, with the source behind each one and the record that has since moved to another network.

The largest win ever paid on Mega Moolah itself is €18,915,872.81. A player betting €0.75 won it at Grand Mondial in September 2018, according to CasinoBeats quoting Microgaming. Guinness World Records still prints an older, smaller win as its record. A sibling game on the same pool paid about €19.4 million in 2021, as Intergame reported. The record across Games Global's jackpots now belongs to WowPot, a separate network, according to World Casino Directory.

Four of these five rows are Mega Moolah jackpots.
Only two came from the original game.
Guinness Still Lists the 2015 Win
Guinness World Records still lists Jon Heywood's €17,879,645 win on Mega Moolah at Betway, on , as the largest online slot jackpot. We checked the page on .
The entry is out of date. Two later wins beat it on this pool, and a third, on another network, beat all of them by roughly double.
The Grand Mondial Win of 2018
The biggest payout on the original game came on , from a €0.75 spin. CasinoBeats reported it with a quote from Microgaming, which still ran the game then.

That stake matters. The rules say a higher bet raises the jackpot chance, yet the original game's largest win came from a €0.75 spin, small by any reading. Grand Mondial's 2018 bet range is not on record, so the spin cannot be placed against the 0.25 to 6.25 range of today's demo, which counts in credits anyway. A single win says little about odds, though it does puncture the idea that only maximum bets land the Mega.
A Sibling's Bigger Win in 2021
Absolootly Mad: Mega Moolah, a separate slot drawing on the shared jackpot, paid a Belgian player about €19.4 million at Napoleon on , Intergame reported. AffPapa quoted Microgaming's chief executive, John Coleman, calling it the largest online slot payout of all time. SBC News dates it 30 April, the day of the press release. The exact figure to the cent appears only in a headline we could not check, so we round it.
Count it as a Mega Moolah jackpot, paid through another game. The distinction matters when a site tells you "Mega Moolah's record is €19.4 million": the money came from the shared pool, through a different game.
WowPot Took the Studio's Record
WowPot took the record for Games Global's jackpots on , moving it off Mega Moolah altogether. Wheel of Wishes, on the studio's separate WowPot network, paid €38,461,200.95, about twice the best Mega Moolah figure, as World Casino Directory reported. Since then, the largest online jackpot belongs to another network.
Five days later, on , Book of Mega Moolah paid €13.5 million at Betway, per GamblingNews citing Games Global. That made two eight-figure Games Global jackpots in under a week.
Two Mega Wins in Two Years
The Mega level paid out exactly twice in the two years before we read Games Global's public win feed. The larger of the two was €13,641,973.90. The latest, on , was €1,067,653.60.

That second figure raises an awkward question. The demo client's rules say the Mega starts at 2,000,000.00, yet the feed records a Mega win below that seed. The demo runs on Games Global's test environment, so its seed may differ from the live one.
We report both numbers and pick neither.
The counters were still climbing when we looked. At 12:04 UTC that day the studio's public counter feed showed Mega at 15,841,588.70, on jackpot number 113. The feed gave the same figure whatever currency we asked for, so we quote it bare.
The Studio's Feed, Level by Level
| Level | Wins in two years | Average or largest win |
|---|---|---|
| Mega | 2 | largest €13,641,973.90 |
| Major | 376 | average €21,497.29 |
| Minor | 372,265 | average €80.41 |
| Mini | 1,273,063 | average €8.48 |
Major wins land roughly every 1.9 days on that count. The Mega averages about a year between wins.
Why a Record Is a Poor Guide
A record is a poor guide because it describes one spin, while the odds behind it stay unpublished. We do not recommend raising your stake, or picking a casino, because it advertises a record such as Grand Mondial's €18,915,872.81. The pool is shared, so the jackpot pays out through every casino on the network, and the one named in a headline holds no claim on the next win. The Mega paid twice in two years across every player on the network, and the rules leave the effect of a bigger bet unquantified.

The size of these wins also hides how the pool fills. Each stake feeds the jackpots, while the size of that slice stays a studio secret: Games Global publishes neither a contribution rate nor a return to player for the game.
Weak Points in the Record List
The record list itself has weak points, and they are worth weighing before quoting any line of it. The 2021 sibling win has no figure to the cent that we could check, and its date shifts by three days between reports.
The WowPot sum comes from World Casino Directory, not from a studio document we read.
Guinness, the name most sites lean on, still prints a 2015 win that two later payouts on this pool beat. Only two rows carry a stake: €0.75 on the original in 2018 and, per AffPapa, €15 on the 2021 sibling win. Two stakes say almost nothing about whether a bigger bet helped anyone. Even the studio's own two-year feed stops short of an answer: the figures we quote from it are counts and amounts, with no odds attached.
